Bank of America Scrambles to Modify Loans Ahead of Government Deadline

Many borrowers are struggling to join the federal program to modify their mortgages. This bank is shortage of the employees and budget, therefore they send the letters about the requirement to be eligible to borrow money. This will help the foreclosure crisis. They join the "Making Home Affordable Program". The bank has added a lot of employees and fax machines for easier transportation to this program.

it's better not to get involved with church things. People can compromise about this themselves.

House Approves Hate-Crimes Measure as Part of Defense Funding

"The provision would broaden the current definition of federal hate crimes to include attacks based on gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability"

I think people who commit the hate crime will also be fined. It will be contributed to the Defense Funding. It is a good idea after all, people who are racist or discriminator would never be changed, so fine will be the way to prevent it, also to have some $ for government

Nixon's Scandal

After this scandal Watergate about Nixon, people will believe less in government than before. What Nixon had done is totally shameful. Although he is a conservative person, he barely trusted anybody, even his loyalty assistant; but he should not ask people to install the voice recording system. People would not feel happy and comfortable after staying at the Watergate, knowing their conversation being recorded. Because of the Nixon’s action, the American government lost their reputation to people. People would feat that they are watched by the government spies. However, there are other people believe in government system more, because it is revealed and other parties did not try to cover Nixon. It is fair. So absolutely we can rely on the check’s and balance’s to keep out government fair.

She issued a bill statement about defeating the opposition to gay marriage rights in D.C.
She got a commitment from U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood to support her bill to require that a portion of federal highway funds be dedicated to on-the-job training to combat a serious training deficit.

Thousands join London G-20 protest

The protester gathered at the center on London. So far it was still considered "peaceful". The protester consisted environmentalists, church groups, and political campaigners, made 120 groups and about 20,000 people. They think the G-20 is for the individual profit, even it violates other country's economies. G-20 is divided into 2 opinions, it is good for co-operation internationally, other thinks G-20 members will take advantage of it, since the trade barrier between countries will be soon deactivated. Whatever the reasons are, we will know more about the answer in those next G-20 meetings.

At first glance, G-20 this year is made for global economic boost. $500bn will be given to IMF to contribute the world economy. Of course the national regulation will be applied. The G-20 is very potential about solving the economic puzzle at this time, by leading the marketplace for the common good. This maybe be protested by people, because its action is not always good for individual. Some people think the market of the country should be led by its own people. G-20 decided to make the meeting more frequently in order to have more discussion. To improve the economy for the country, people should make a move together, same as global economy, it is international consensus.
